A concert of music by popular songwriters revisited and played with. This concert will feature jazz faculty Mark Mollica’s arrangements of familiar tunes put into the capable hands of his band of improvisers. Taking from a number of genres, the group hopes to mix up expectations a bit while bringing them into a unified new context.
