Meet the Instruments
Bloomingdale’s Meet the Instruments program introduces students to instrument study, combining elemental music-making classes with age appropriate introductions to solo instruments. Children experience the violin, piano, and wind instruments and more in daily sessions led by faculty artists specializing in each instrument. Join us for an exciting week of musical exploration!
The program will be conducted at the Bloomingdale School of Music, with a daily schedule running from 9 a.m. through 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, August 11-15.
*Caregivers are not required to be in class with students

What you will learn
Our Meet the Instruments students will explore a broad range of musical ideas through sight, sound, and movement. Developed particularly for young students starting off on their musical journey, this program is an action-packed introduction to diverse musical concepts that will lay the groundwork for a variety of future study.

See demonstrations of various musical instruments and give them a try
SINGING, MUSIC & MOVEMENT
Experience rhythm, melody, and harmony through singing, rhythmic movement, and instrument ensembles
