What you will learn
The group works on ensemble playing, intonation, blending, and rhythmic study. The ensemble performs in public several times a year at trumpet recitals, Sharing Hours, and special events. Audition is required and can be scheduled directly with the ensemble coach.
Repertoire
The ensemble performs a wide variety of classical, jazz, and pop music in many different settings.
More than just playing
In addition to rehearsing, numerous trumpet topics are discussed and students perform for each other.
Social Setting
The class provides an exciting chamber music experience and an opportunity to strengthen musical and personal bonds within the trumpet studio.
