What you will learn

In this class, children will explore many of the basic elements of music and the keyboard in a group setting.

FINE MOTOR SKILLS​

Through warm up games and technical exercises, to increase finger dexterity necessary for learning more advanced piano repertoire in the future, each student's fine motor skills are developed.

BASIC MUSIC THEORY​

Each student will learn about the music staff, treble and bass clef, develop rhythm through clapping and counting, explore major and minor keys, and more. ​

SELF EXPRESSION​

Not only will students come away able to play simple songs, but they will also gain an appreciation of expressing their feelings through music making.
