Bloomingdale School of Music announces its 2023/24 Faculty Concert Series at the David Greer Concert Hall, 323 West 108th Street, NYC. Praised as one of the finest concert series on the Upper West Side, this season will include a wide variety of musical genres spanning the centuries from the Baroque period to today. The concerts feature our professional artist-teachers as well as special guest performers. The diverse 2023/24 season includes music from classical and jazz to folk and experimental styles and features music by composers from countries such as Brazil, Puerto Rico, Hungary, Italy, and the United States. The series kicks off with Virtuosic Violinistic Folk Inspiration on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 7pm.
For over 20 years Bloomingdale has presented its faculty, as well as guest artists, in concerts for the community. Bloomingdale’s Free Faculty Concert Series has established itself a vital part of the musical life of the Upper West Side, taking place most Fridays at 7pm in our state of the art David Greer Concert Hall.
