BLOOMINGDALE MUSIC CLASSES FOR TEENS

Bloomingdale music classes for teens offer opportunities to learn keyboard, violin, percussion, guitar, flute, ukulele, voice, and more. The classes are designed to help students learn and enjoy the basics before transitioning to more advanced or private study.

INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION

The class sizes are small (limited to 6 students) so instructors can give each student the attention he/she deserves.

FOCUS ON FUNDAMENTALS

Classes are well-rounded and use an interactive approach to teach students to understand the building blocks of music.

SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT

Our community is about acceptance. Students of all skills and backgrounds learn music together.

BEYOND MUSIC CLASSES

Basic instrument instruction is offered to teens in a group setting. As students continue their musical studies, they can join advanced courses, begin private lessons, or join music ensembles.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are a great option for students who want or need a customized learning path. Lessons are customized to meet the needs and learning style of each student and the student’s progress determines the pace. Private lessons prepare students for musical performances where they can demonstrate their talent and others can watch and enjoy.

TEENS MUSIC ENSEMBLES

An ensemble can be the next step for a passionate music student and may encourage some students to continue their studies. Our performance groups invite students to apply their individual studies to collectively perform art – playing and performing with friends can be fun and fulfilling.

MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

MUSIC ACCESS PROJECT (MAP)

MAP is a three year, pre-college scholarship program with a mission to prepare talented and deserving students, regardless of financial background, for acceptance into conservatory, college or university. MAP serves a select group of 15 to 20 students annually in a musically intensive after school program, with both jazz and classical curricula.

BECAUSE MUSIC MATTERS

MUSIC EDUCATION CHANGES LIVES

We provide access to music education to anyone who seeks it, regardless of economic status, ability, ethnicity, or religion, which has a profound impact on individual lives as well as on our entire community.

We offer Need-based financial assistance

Our goal is to make music education accessible and to remove the financial barrier that may prevent students from participating. Therefore, we offer need-based financial aid to as many students as possible.
