Venice was the hub of musical invention and soloistic virtuosity in the baroque era. Dorian Baroque presents a program tracing the myriad of musical styles flourishing in Venice from the early 1600s to the mid-1700s with chamber music featuring two violins, cello, and harpsichord by composers Giovanni Legrenzi, Antonio Caldara, and Antonio Vivaldi.
