Scott Sandberg, saxophone

Saxophonist Scott Sandberg has performed throughout the United States and Europe. He has been heard at regional and national conferences of the North American Saxophone Alliance and has played professionally with symphony orchestras, pit orchestras, and big bands. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he competed in the national level of the Music Teachers National Association Collegiate Competition after winning the state and regional contests.

Scott received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the University of North Dakota and his Master of Arts degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Iowa. While completing his master's degree he served as Adjunct Instructor of Jazz at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. This is his second year as Instructor of Saxophone at the Bloomingdale School of Music.
