Join Bloomingdale School of Music on Saturday, November 21st from 3:30-5:30pm for the school's inaugural Jazz Discovery Day! From 3:30-4:15pm, members of BSM's jazz faculty will lead introductory workshops in various facets of jazz playing. At 4:30, attendees have the opportunity to enjoy the interactive “Discovery Concert” where the workshop leaders will join forces to reiterate what has been learned. The second half of the program will feature faculty and students culminating in a blues jam session in which everyone is invited to participate. Refreshments will be served during the intermission.
This event is free and open to the public - all ages and ability levels are welcome!
